Confidence score?

Hello -

I’ve read through the documentation, but I don’t see this addressed anywhere. Is there a way to get the confidence score from the recognizer?

To be clear, I am not looking to know which is the most likely utterance from a list of sentences. Instead, I’m looking for the score that tells me how close the closest match was. E.g., was the recognizer 0.4 confident or 0.7 confident or 0.9 confident, etc, that it understood the utterance.

Sorry if this is addressed somewhere else, I am a newbie at MOVI.

Thanks.I read somewhere (doc? forum?) that sometimes the recognizer will reply with “I don’t understand” or similar. If there is no confidence score, how does that work?

I am wondering if I can capture whatever result the recognizer provides, whether it is “I don’t understand” or the recognized utterance.

“I don’t understand” comes up when the recognized sentence is too similar to more than one of the trained sentences.
